A lack of access to clean drinking water can be deadly. To raise awareness and encourage donations to The Water Project we focused on a little known fact: every year dirty water kills more people than war. To drive this fact home we had select bars and restaurants around Toronto serve glasses of water with grenade shaped ice cubes that melted revealing our message. For maximum impact we also surprised visitors at the Bloor-Yorkville Icefest with a giant grenade shaped ice sculpture made out of dirty water.
